So thinking about 2010 and of course planning out goals for the coming year becomes a lynch pin of this month for me. So knocking around some ideas I have come to the conclusion I need to limit them this year.

I have a lot going on in 2010 so I need to make sure I don’t accidentally screw myself over. For one thing getting straight As in my courses for my MBA is definitely going to be on the list.

Some will be repeated from this past year given that I didn’t accomplish them like do the splits, do the bridge and do a handstand without support. But along with this goal I think I will officially start my yoga certification this year. I won’t start until around September, but I think it is time to get this going again. Life got in the way, and it is time to stop putting something I truly love on the back burner.

But these only cover two aspects of my life, my intellectual and my physical. I like to add overcoming at least one fear this year, there are potential financial goals and then goofy fun goals.

Now along with these goals there are the 5 goals from the Master100 I need to start to work into the calendar. Now I have accomplished 17 off the list, but looking at the list, I will be working on at least 10. So aside from those 9 (one will be count as part of the five to start, get yoga certification), I need to start 4 more.

Those in the running:

Learn to properly Tango
Skydive
Learn Rock Climbing
Win a Medal
Join a Book Club
Learn Golf
Learn to Ballroom Dance
Visit Canada
Update the Kitchen
See Oprah Show Live (granted I really don’t want to do this anymore, she has become a nutter)
Snorkel

So I have until December 31st to decide and then plan. Wish me luck.

Love the list.. but “Visit Canada”? For gods sake woman, you live in Ohio. Canada can’t be more than a few hours away. Get you and the kid a passport and be on your way. At 19 you wanted a guy that understood your wanderlust, so pack up on a friday night and head for a weekend in Toronto with the kid. Actually live with a little wanderlust.. :)

and.. what is the Master100? Is that a non-diane list somewhere?

Hysterically the Master100 is my list of top 100 things I want to do before I am fifty. I am a list person, can’t help it.
